We were delighted to purchase this colt from the Arqana October Yearling Sale.

He is by Saxon Warrior, who was unbeaten at two, highlighted by his victory in the Group 1 Racing Post Trophy Stakes, before winning the 2,000 Guineas on his seasonal reappearance at three. He was highly campaigned that year, never finishing out of the first four, with placed performances in the Irish Derby, Coral-Eclipse, and Irish Champion Stakes.

A very likeable, athletic individual, he really caught the eye around the complex. A fabulous, free-moving colt. We were delighted to buy him from such a great breeder, Sam Sangster.

His dam, Barleysugar, was a proven winner on the track and has produced smart performers, including Lord Wootton Cen, a very talented two-year-old in France.

He looks to be a mid-season type with plenty of class.
